Sworkit Launches Sworkit Move, a Clinically Designed Musculoskeletal Program for the Entire Workforce, From Prevention to Recovery
Clinically designed condition pathways and licensed human support, paired with everyday fitness, mindfulness, and nutrition, closing the gap most MSK point solutions leave behind
BETHESDA, Md., July 28, 2026 — Sworkit Health, a brand of Nexercise, Inc., today announced the launch of Sworkit Move, a musculoskeletal (MSK) program built to help people move through and recover from the everyday back, joint, and muscle pain that drives a large share of employer healthcare spending and lost work time. Sworkit Move sits inside the full Sworkit platform, and it is available to employers, health plans, and wellbeing platforms as part of a bundle or as a standalone add-on.
Musculoskeletal conditions, meaning pain in the back, neck, shoulders, hips, knees, feet, and pelvic floor, are among the most common and most expensive health issues in the working population. Most digital MSK solutions are designed for the small share of people with the highest-acuity needs, often those already considering surgery. That leaves the far larger group of employees living with nagging, function-limiting pain without a clear place to turn, and it leaves benefits teams paying premium prices to reach only a sliver of their people.
Sworkit Move was built to serve the whole population. It offers structured clinical pathways for members working through a specific condition, supports higher-acuity members before and after an episode with preparation and recovery, and keeps prevention, mobility, and conditioning within reach for everyone else, all in one experience. When a member needs in-person or higher-acuity care, Sworkit Move is designed to recognize it and guide them to the right next step, not hold onto them.
"For years, employers have been asked to pay some of the highest prices in digital health to reach the smallest slice of their workforce. Sworkit Move flips that. We built a program that takes the person with real, everyday pain seriously, gives them a clinically designed path forward with licensed human support, and keeps them moving long after the acute episode ends. And because it lives inside one platform the whole company shares, the person in pain and the person who just wants to stay healthy are finally in the same place."

01 What Sworkit Move includes
Sworkit Move guides members through condition-specific pathways spanning the most common sources of pain, including the low back, neck, shoulder, hip, knee, foot and ankle, elbow and wrist, and pelvic floor, with dedicated support for women's health needs such as postpartum recovery and pelvic floor strength. Each pathway follows a three-phase clinical progression, moving members from Relief to Rebuild to Strengthen, through short guided sessions that take only a few minutes a day. The program is designed and reviewed by licensed Doctors of Physical Therapy, and every member is screened for clinical red flags at intake.
Sworkit Move will also offer optional, camera-based motion tracking that gives members real-time feedback on their form and range of motion. It turns the camera a member already has into a guide for performing each movement safely and a simple way to see progress over time.

Message and meet by video with Sworkit's own DPTs — not just a video library.
Short guided sessions
A few minutes a day, built around each member's condition and daily progress.
Safe by design
Red-flag screening and protocol-aware routing when a member needs higher-acuity care.
Real human support
Certified trainers, health coaches, and DPTs matched to each organization's plan.
Members can be matched to a pathway through a brief assessment, or they can browse and choose one themselves. From there, they are supported by real people, not just a video library. Depending on their organization's plan, that support ranges from certified trainers and health coaches to Sworkit's own licensed Doctors of Physical Therapy, who members can message and meet with by video. The care team can assess a member's situation, adjust the plan as they progress, and stay with them through the normal ups and downs of recovery. For many members, that means Sworkit Move is not a stop on the way to care. It is the support they need.
That same intake screening also serves as a safety net. Because Sworkit Move is configured to understand each client's own high-acuity MSK protocol, the smaller number of members whose symptoms call for hands-on, in-person evaluation or a higher level of care are recognized early by Sworkit's Doctors of Physical Therapy and connected to the right next step within their employer's or health plan's existing pathways. Most members never need that handoff. The ones who do reach it faster, and everyone else keeps moving forward with the Sworkit care team beside them.

02 Built for members other programs miss
Sworkit Move was shaped around the people benefits leaders describe most often — the members who fall through the cracks of a traditional, high-acuity MSK point solution.
Whose low back tightens by mid-shift, who would never start an intensive virtual PT program, but needs a few minutes of the right movement to get through the week.
Whose neck and shoulder tension turns into recurring headaches, and who wants to act before it becomes a claim.
Returning to work needing pelvic floor and core recovery support, with nowhere in their benefits package to find it.
Managing knee or hip osteoarthritis who wants to stay strong and mobile and delay, or avoid, a bigger intervention.
And the member who finishes a short program and, instead of dropping off the way people so often do once the acute pain fades, keeps going with the fitness, mobility, and mindfulness content already at their fingertips. Sustained engagement after the program ends is exactly where most standalone MSK tools fall short, and it is where Sworkit Move is built to hold.
03 Balancing budget and outcomes
Nearly every employer and health plan is looking for a way to address musculoskeletal pain, and most already know that digital physical therapy is part of the answer. The obstacle is cost. The best-known clinical MSK programs carry premium prices that many organizations see climbing rather than falling, and some cannot justify them at all. The result is a stalemate, with buyers caught between an expense they cannot rationalize and a problem too big to ignore. Many default to the most expensive option of all, doing nothing, while MSK claims and lost productivity keep mounting.
Sworkit's answer is a whole-population model at a fraction of the cost of standalone clinical MSK point solutions. Because Sworkit Move is delivered inside a platform that also offers more than 1,200 workouts, mindfulness, nutrition guidance, challenges, and support in 16 languages, employers reach the employee working through a specific condition and the employee who simply wants to move more, without stitching together multiple vendors or paying for each separately.
Sworkit Move is built to break the stalemate by balancing budget and outcomes. It can stand on its own as an organization's MSK offering, and it can also work alongside a higher-acuity clinical program, giving the broad population an appropriate, lower-cost first option and reducing how often the most expensive plans are drawn on for cases that do not require them. Either way, the employer reaches more people for less.
"Movement is one of the most effective things most people can do for everyday back, neck, and joint pain, but the hard part is doing it right, consistently. Sworkit Move gives people a clinically designed path and a real person to guide it, and because it lives inside a full movement and wellness experience rather than a standalone clinical program, the right movement becomes part of their day instead of one more program they abandon. We built it for everyone who just wants to get through their day without their back or knee getting in the way, not just the few. Our goal is simple: help more people move well and feel better, every day."
