What motivates you to maintain your fitness habit?
My two daughters. I had a very difficult pregnancy with my last one, and still struggle with a heart condition. On top of that, I lost my mom to a heart attack in December. So I workout for “me” time and to continue to be healthy for my kids.
What’s your daily or weekly workout regimen look like?
I workout every morning. I start with stretching, then move to a core workout for a few minutes, then do a quick cardio workout, then go to various others. I usually finish off with a short session of yoga.
What are 3 tips you can give others on how to lead a healthy life?
- Be consistent. Even if you don’t feel like working out, get up and move your body.
- Don’t give up. Even if it’s taking longer to get in shape or you aren’t seeing the progress you want right away, keep pushing!
- Do it for you! Do it for yourself, you’ll feel so much better about yourself and be happier in life!
